In Galatians 3, the Apostle Paul reminds us,
"There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus."
However, our world continues to be torn apart by racial lines.
On June 14, Oak Ridge will join with other Presbyterian Churches in Salem Presbytery in the 21 Day Journey for Racial Equity. Church members and friends will be invited to choose to read, listen, watch or do one thing each day for three weeks, and there is a shared resource page of videos, podcasts, articles, and actions to draw from.
Mia Malesovas and Duryea Taylor will serve as co-leaders for our journey together. We will also offer listening groups during our journey. We hope you join us in this important work as we learn and educate ourselves about the sin of racism.
