Dr. Carl Utley carl.utley@orpc.org
Dr. Carl Utley began his ministry at ORPC in the summer of 2005. A preacher’s kid and military dependent, Carl grew up “all over,” giving him a broad perspective about people, places, and the church’s calling to serve beyond the local community. He has served congregations in Arkansas, Texas, Nebraska, and North Carolina. His wife, Beth, is a director of Christian Education and Youth at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in High Point. They have four college age students scattered around North Carolina and Ohio. When not at church you will probably find Carl at a coffee shop, bookstore, or looking for a classical music concert to attend. Responsibilities: The pastor at ORPC is called to provide spiritual leadership to the congregation. Carl’s primary responsibilities include: preaching, worship leadership, teaching, leadership development, pastoral care, and mission beyond the local community. |
